College Apps!!!

I love this cartoon, I mean it mixes my favorite thing (american football) and the dreadful thing that is taking over my life (college applications)

As it gets closer and closer to deadline (the early-action deadline that is), I've used this 5-day weekend (yes we have been having a 5-day weekend for teacher conferences/workdays) to do the majority of my applications; or at least all the ones due by November 1st.

This means I have conquered Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina State, and Texas! wooooo thats more than half!! Now all I have left is Elon, South Carolina, and Syracuse......yay??

As a few of my friends have stated, I am an "eager beaver". But why shouldn't I be? I mean isn't it better to get the applications out of the way as soon as possible AND know many months sooner? I'm just thinking logical.

While dealing with apps AND regular hw is such a hassle, it is awesome moving along in a process that will ultimately shape who I am in the real world...and a little scary...
