I Believe the Appropriate Name for your Condition is Senioritis...?

Finally Seniors. It's something every 12th grader goes through, and I happen to be getting the illness right at the beginning. Its called "senioritis"

Through the past couple of weeks I've been able to embrace being a senior in all its glory. I'm taking 5 AP's (crazy I know) and have already received LOADS of work, but I'll manage.

The best perk of being a senior is the senior lounge. Now thanks to the lovely Class of '08, we have to fundraise, furnish, and paint the senior lounge ourselves. It all has something to do with taking ownership or whatever. Anyways I've found myself as one of the head honchos of this little project, coming up with a Bake Sale and American Candy Sale to raise the money, going to IKEA to pick out the furniture, and designing how it will be painted.

Another great thing is senior trip. This will be taken before graduation, and I happen to be, you guessed it, a co-coordinator of this event as well. We've done the preliminary votes, but the researching, planning, and pricing all has to be done by me....yay (sarcastic laugh).

I've also signed up to do MUN and was chosen as a delaget to attend conference in The Hague in January. I've also run for Student Council President with the elections tomorrow (update promise!). In all of this I've completely embraced being a senior.

Not to mention YoungLife, Wyldlife, and having a SOCIAL Life! Man, this school never saw ME coming! Class of '09...here we go
