All I Want For Christmas Is.....

Many things actually, thanks for asking.

Just wishing everyone an awesome Christmas Eve! I know most of you aren't like me and open your presents on Christmas Day, however I will be indulging in my gifts come later this evening :D. I'll write another post later about all those awesome gifts.

Merry Christmas Everyone! And make sure not to forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas :)

P.S.- I received an early Christmas present in the form of my acceptance letter to the University of South Carolina! wooo!

Best Day?

First of all, I want to let everyone know I was accepted to NC State on Monday! I know, it's just my back-up but its so sweet to actually be accepted somewhere. More college news below....

This is basically just a quick post to let everyone know today was probably one of the BEST DAYS!
Lets recap:

• I finished my last test before Christmas Break (which for me begins after ONE MORE school day tomorrow!)
• I had my last swim practice, which went super well for me being sort of sick
• The Student Council Christmas Candy Cane Sales went so well and everyone was super excited (especially me who got 7 candy canes!)
• Finally...I got accepted to Elon University (one of my top choices!) AND received a HUGE 4-year scholarship (by huge, I mean $16,000!)

So yea, this day was pretty awesome to say the least. I'll be posting more as I find out from more universities and as I return back to the beloved homeland in 2 DAYS!!!!

Seriously....

Its such a drag waiting for my college decisions to reach me

C'MON GUYS GET A MOVE ON!!!!!!

In case you were wondering, I find out from:

• Georgia, South Carolina, and NC State on the 15th
• Elon on the 18th
• UNC on the 15th of January
• and my two rolling schools, Texas and Tennessee, which should have ALREADY mailed their decisions to me, are TBD

I know I said I wouldn't be before, but, I'm getting pretty anxious. Hopefully I dont end up like this guy...

We're Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime

It's been about a week into December and I can't say how exciting (and busy) its been. My absolute favorite month (i mean Christmas AND my birthday...what could be better) has arrived and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

So whats happened in the past week you ask...

• Our family along with our neighbors went on a weekend trip to Berlin last weekend to take in the sights and go see the varying Christmas markets. We had loads of fun as Berli was another place to mark off our list AND all the markets, lights, and snow really got us into the Christmas spirit. Pictures posted soon!
• I've been enjoying leftover turkey sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner pretty much everyday this week. I swear nothing beats leftover Thanksgiving food
• We put up our Christmas tree Monday, decorating it with a collection of my mom's (finest?) nativity ornaments. However, It wasn't complete without us having some Christmas music and hot chocolate as well!
• Speaking of Christmas music, I think I've listened to like 21387472932 Christmas songs since Monday
• Our first swim meet occurred on Friday. I was extremely nervous, however bettered my time by 4 seconds in my first race! In my second race, however, I fell off the starting block and was disqualified :( but oh well, I think I still did alright.

So yea, the first week of December has been pretty eventful, and it will only get better :)
P.S.- I find out from a few of my colleges in like a week! and I go back to the states in 12 DAYS!!!!!!
